Ségur le Château
The village has many remarkable houses of the fifteenth and sixteenth century. like the house "Tour Saint-Laurent", the "Tour du Guet" and "Henri IV" houses with turrets, half-timberings, spiral staircases, monumental fireplaces ...
Its 12th-17th century castle, built on a steep spur, dominates the village and the Auvézère.
Its first enclosure leads to a vast courtyard in which remains a Renaissance house.
The second enclosure includes the remains of the donjon and Notre-Dame chapel.
In the Saint-Léger church, a surprising contemporary stained glass window, created by the artist Vincent Corpet, symbolizes the execution of the saint.
Discovery trail in the alleys of the village, bucolic hiking trails including one leading to Lasveyras bridge (place of resistance).
In summer season: guided tours of the village and the castle; the agricultural and landscaped park of Chedal (ranked Remarkable Garden).
